The new National Living Wage 2018 (NLW) and the National Minimum Wage (NMW) increase each April, the new rates of pay are the minimum that employers can pay for all pay dates after April 1 2018.
The new rates of pay are seen below and are dependent upon the employees age, when the employee reaches the age criteria their rate of pay must increase to at least that shown in the table below: The Current year (2017-18) is shown for comparison.
